⚖️ Starting from June 1, 2026, the UAE will officially implement new updates to the Wage Protection System (WPS).

Under the new Ministerial Resolution No. (0340) of 2026:
• Salaries must be paid on the 1st day of every month for the previous month.
• Companies are considered compliant if at least 85% of wages are transferred on time.
• Delayed salary payments after the due date may expose establishments to legal consequences and administrative measures.

This decision aims to strengthen employee protection, improve salary compliance, and regulate labor relations across the private sector in the UAE.

If you work in the UAE or own a business, understanding these updates is essential before June 2026.

Under UAE labor regulations, workers may transfer to another company after contract termination in cases such as:• Contract expiration• Mutual agreement between both parties

However, a new work permit may be denied for one year if:• The employee leaves during probation without respecting the notice period• A false complaint is proven• Absence from work is reported

لكن هل ده معناه إنك ما عندكش حقوق؟ أكيد لا.

في حالات كثيرة تقدر تثبت علاقة العمل عن طريق:
• تحويل الراتب
• المحادثات والرسائل
• سجل الحضور
• الفيزا أو الإقامة
• الشهود

Great news for employees in the UAE! Sick leave certificates are no longer paid. Previously, you had to pay between 70 to 100 AED to obtain a medical certificate for work.

Now, you can apply online through the Ministry of Health website using your UAE Pass. Simply submit your internal medical report, and once reviewed, your official sick leave certificate will be issued completely free of charge.

This makes the process faster, easier, and more accessible for everyone.
