Did you know: the Original name for our mother land Africa is [ALKEBULAN] which translate to Mother of mankind.

the name Africa was given by the Romans after they conquered the Afri tribe of the North [now Tunisia] during there conquest in 160 bc.

this piece of history is very important to understanding our Alkebian history. because our sense of identity was robbed together with our dignity.

what's the implication?
our Alkebian history is not nature for it's art, beauty, aesthetic and rich ancient knowledge. but it is merely identified as another piece of land that was conqured by a foreign empire.

let me assure you my alkebian people that, our real identity shall soon be retained and restituted in it's entirety.

Abstract
The media law plays a very important role in keeping the public informed, however, where the material in question is that which is against public morals , policy or order, reporters, publishers and other media outlets are faced with a tough question. Where to draw a thin line between freedom of expression and public morality. This paper critically examined the dichotomous character of freedom of expression in Media law and it’s coinciding rights of public dissemination and right to information; and it’s urgency to protect the expression of literary and artistic work in intellectual property that is against public morality. Further this paper will envisage a legal philosophy underlying obscene laws and copyrights in common law jurisdiction and civil jurisdiction.

CULA ANNUAL MOOTCOURT COMPETITION

I had the honour and privilege of participating in the Copperbelt Unniversity Law Association Annual mootcourt session. A court simulated proceedings that guide and gives lawyer students the pragmatic experience of legal writing, drafting, research and oral argumentation.

The experience is wonderful simultaneously challenging in that the judges test the knowledge depth of the participants, the confidence, and legal analysis and reasoning.

It's transformative experience that pushes students to be better at oral argumentation. Thereby, I would like to thank the mootcourt board for implementing this dialogue and the law department for playing a major role in equipping us.
