Today we put to rest Sr Violet Mambwali who died on Tuesday 18th August, 2026. Sr Violet has been a devoted Dorcas Mother and a member of Milambwe SDA Church since 2001. Her dedicated to church activities will always be remembered. We put the Mambwali and Kaniini families in God's hand.

Thessalonians 4:14 — Good News Bible
“We believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will take those who have died believing in him.”

APPLICATION
Paul is giving hope to Christians concerning those who have died. The central point is:
Jesus really died — His death was real.
Jesus rose again — His resurrection proves that death is not the end.

Those who die believing in Christ have hope — God will raise them and bring them into eternal life when Christ returns.

Key thought: Because Jesus conquered death, the believer's grave is not the end—it is a temporary resting place until the resurrection.

Hebrews 6:19:
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and staedfast…” — Hebrews 6:19

🌿 Theme: Anchored in Hope
Camp meetings give us an opportunity to leave the distractions of everyday life, come closer to God, renew our faith, and encourage one another.

Other Bible texts include:
Psalm 46:10 — “Be still, and know that I am God.” A reminder to pause and reconnect with God.

Isaiah 40:31 — “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength…”
God renews those who trust in Him.

Matthew 11:28 — “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”Camp can be a place of spiritual rest and restoration.

Exodus 33:14 — “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” The greatest blessing of camp is God's presence.

The main issue here is:
“Come to camp not merely to attend a program, but to encounter God, strengthen your faith, and return home anchored in hope.”
