Meet Chané. ✨

Chané joined Marina Clift Attorneys Inc in January 2026 and has quickly become an integral part of our team.

She may be small in stature, but she's incredibly driven. Her work ethic, determination and willingness to tackle any challenge have earned the respect of both our team and our clients.

Chané was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in March 2025 and assists clients with deceased estate administration, property transfers, ante-nuptial agreements, litigation, and contracts. She approaches every matter with care, precision, and professionalism, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.

Another exciting milestone lies ahead, as Chané is currently writing her final examinations to qualify as a conveyancing attorney.

What happens when someone dies without a will? 🤔

In South Africa, the Intestate Succession Act governs how an estate is distributed when there's no valid will. The split depends on who you leave behind: a spouse, children, parents, or other family members.
