It’s easy to think a Will is only necessary if there’s a large estate to deal with, but that really isn’t the case.
Your parents may own a home or a car, have money in a bank account or simply have personal belongings they would like to go to particular people.
A Will lets them make those decisions themselves. It also makes it much clearer for the family when the time comes to deal with their estate.
It doesn’t need to be complicated, and you certainly don’t need to be wealthy to have one.
If it’s something your parents have been putting off, perhaps it’s worth starting the conversation.
