On 20 July 2021, Judge President Makgoba issued a directive on the implementation of Rule 41A which compels legal practitionars to attempt mediation bringing an action or motion before the Court.

With effect from 1 September 2021, the Court will decline to hear the matter but strike same from the roll where the Rule has not been complied with.

Mediation is the most cost effective method to resolve disputes.
