Distinguished colleagues, the Mooting Society is excited to announce that registration is currently ongoing for the maiden FALAS Moot Competition. It is happening at this year’s Annual Conference at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa on the 4th of October.

Subject: REGISTRATION FOR THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE STARTS TODAY

We are delighted to inform you that official registration for the African Law Students' Annual Conference has started today, 4 July, 2022 and will end on 11 September, 2022.

The conference is scheduled to take place on 3rd - 5th October 2022 at The University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Due to the nature of this conference, your travel dates are expected to be between 2nd - 6th October, 2022.

To be officially registered to attend the conference, you will be required to pay a registration fee of $350 to cater for your Meals, Accommodation and an excursion to the historic sites of Soweto during your stay in South Africa.

Payment of Registration Fees will be made to our Account with Absa Bank;

Upon payment of Registration fees (USD 350) , you will be required to send an email with the subject “Payment Receipt” to which you will attach pdf file of your payment receipt, including your name and country and send to our Director of Finance here on [email protected]

Please note that you shall cover your travel expenses including Visa Application and Flight Tickets.

We will send you an invitation letter after you have paid Registration fees to the conference to aid your visa application and travel arrangements.

Kindly note that proof of payment of registration fees will be a requirement for you to be able to acquire a Visa from the South African Visa Agency/Embassy for you to be able to travel to South Africa for the Conference.
