My Very true Historical background my heritage of Astronomy: (Wikipedia). The Kapteyn Astronomical Institute is the leading astronomy department of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Overview and History Founding: The institute was founded in 1885 (with a lab opening in 189ins6) by the prominent Dutch astronomer Jacobus Kapteyn.Location: It is situated on the Zernike Campus north of Groningen inside the Zernike Building.
AS his great, great, great great grand daughter, Patricia (Patsy) nee Kapteyn, now Johnson, I take an interest in following my paternal grandfather's established the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute.
