On Tuesday 7 May, Barnsley Hospice, Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are holding a Dying Matters drop-in event in the Library @ the Lightbox. Between 10 am and 1 pm. Two members of our Private Client team, Eleanor Wilson and Karen Barton, will be in attendance to answer questions and offer sensitive guidance about the related legal issues. Due to an expanding department we require a Personal Injury Solicitor to join our Team.
The successful candidate will be 2-4 years’ PQE and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Main purposes of role (not limited to)
1. Undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department, in accordance with the firm’s quality and risk management procedures.
2. Participation in marketing activities whether on a firm wide, departmental or office basis.
3. Financial control with particular regard to cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
Full Time Position – Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:15pm

We are delighted to have raised over £4,600.00 for Barnsley Hospice during this year’s Make a Will Month. Thank you to all of our clients who donated so generously and well done to our private client colleagues who worked exceptionally hard to offer the service to as many clients as possible!

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Make a Will Month campaign has raised a phenomenal £8,000 for the hospice.

In February, seven local solicitors generously waived their usual will-writing fees, and gave supporters the opportunity to donate to the hospice instead.
