One can be arrested or disappeared for no reason in Malaysia!!!
It can happen to anyone of us!

Sometimes we hear when somebody knows who and who (ie influential figure), he can easily put you in lock-up for whatever reason he wants.

Though procedurally we have sections 117 and 52A of CPC, each of us in Malaysia are at risk of being arrested first and then to be investigated later by the authorities (worst abducted and disappeared). I am not against their job or investigation but we know it is often abused. The arrested person can well be an innocent and is remanded for days/weeks for the wrong reasons.
