Yes, preparation is key.
But after all the preparations—the sleepless nights, the highlighted reviewers, the countless study sessions with sudden breakdowns on the side—who can truly say he or she is prepared to take on the most consequential test of his or her life.
I feel you warriors. I've been there. That nagging feeling that there's more to read and cover but time is running out. That every time you attempt to answer a practice question, nothing seems to come out, as if you have studied nothing at all. Don't fret, these feelings are absolutely normal.
All the words of encouragement and support now may be just noise and unwanted distractions to you as you frantically read every last bit of law, rule and doctrine you can fit on your finite memory space. But do keep in mind that nothing beats a simple pat on the back for doing a great job so far. You earned it.
It pays to be kind, not just to others, but most especially to one's self.
