The US Supreme Court considered Pitts v State 405 So 3d 1238 and ruled the confrontation clause requires a particular finding of fact that a child victim would be harmed if they have to testify with the person who abused them in the room.

As prosecutors and a justice system in general we must do a better job protecting kids and spend the time and resources required to do such.
