Remember my mysterious Lowe's shopping trip? 😂

Same pelvis. Same baby. Different position.

Use gravity to your advantage! ✨

Just your friendly neighborhood doula shopping for plumbing supplies. 😂

I promise, this is birth-related.

Any guesses what I'm making? Drop them in the comments! 👇

Stay tuned for Part 2. ✨

✨ You matter, and you deserve a birth experience that leaves you feeling powerful - not traumatized - so you can enter into the next chapter of your family's story with peace, joy, and confidence.

Want to bottle that feeling up for your birth? My DMs are open 💜

The goal isn't to have the "perfect" birth.

The goal is to walk into birth informed, confident, and knowing your voice matters.

That's always in style. ✨

I hear from so many second-time parents that they regret spending time on silly things during their first pregnancy. They tell me they wish they knew things that actually mattered, so they could avoid the trauma during their first baby's birth.

As your friend and an experienced doula, I'm sharing a list of things to start researching NOW.

✨ You and your baby deserve to be informed and respected. You deserve to have an empowering birth experience and a blissful 4th trimester.

👉 Be a good friend and share this with an expectant mama who needs to hear this!

I know you love your baby fiercely! ❤️
Because of that, YOU are in the best position to make informed decisions for your baby's well-being, during pregnancy, labor, and long beyond that.
✨ I trust you! ✨

For one week, this little cabin in the woods became our home.

While we're waiting to move into our new home, God gave us a beautiful place to slow down. Mornings with coffee on the porch. Horses grazing in the pasture. Sunshine through the trees.

I love that these horses once raced at Saratoga and won championships. Now they spend their days peacefully grazing in the fields.

"He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul." Psalm 23:2-3

This week felt like a little glimpse of that.

Healthy mom and healthy baby is the bare minimum of what you deserve!
✨ You deserve a birth experience that leaves you feeling powerful - not traumatized - so you can enter into the next chapter of your family's story with peace, joy, and confidence.

Big heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to the networking gathering last weekend! New and seasoned birth doulas, postpartum doulas, lactation consultants, childbirth educators.

It made my heart sing to see all of you mingle and support each other, as you support local families. All of you are quietly changing the world, one birth and one family at a time.

Thank you for being my village over the years. Even though I'm moving to New York, a piece of my heart will stay here in Massachusetts.
