Last week, our community lost a beloved leader and friend: Cayle Tern.

Cayle was the Civic Engagement Manager at for more than 4 years and a key member of our coalition since its inception. Cayle embodied Oregon For All’s mission and spirit. He spent his career working to create an Oregon that welcomes *everyone.*

He has left a lasting mark on our movement. And his memory will forever serve as a reminder that our love and care for one another must always be at the core of our work. 

Our hearts are with Cayle’s family, the APANO community, and everyone who was lucky enough to have Cayle touch their lives. Rest in peace, Cayle.

Last week, we came together to celebrate the signing of the Immigrant Justice Package.These eight laws respond to real needs and affirm that dignity and safety belong to all of us. We’re grateful to for standing with immigrant Oregonians.

And thank you to our coalition members and partners for your leadership and advocacy in pushing these laws forward for our community.

The work continues!

Yesterday, a federal judge ordered ICE to stop warrantless arrests in Oregon, rejecting ICE’s dangerous and unlawful “arrest first, justify later” practice and confirming what we’ve always known: due process matters.

We’re so grateful to the brave plaintiffs and our partners at Innovation Law Lab for leading this fight.
