Writing an offer at noon for a young military family buying their very first home. 🇺🇸🏡 Still wearing my hospital tags and everything. 😂

That’s the part of being a Realtor I really love. Being there when my clients need me, figuring things out, and making sure they have and know their options - and a freshly operated-on knee wasn’t going to stop me. 😂

Fellow Realtors… what’s the most random place you’ve ever written an offer from?

I cant be the only one who thinks hospital tags make perfectly acceptable Realtor attire? 😂🥝

Confession… this was me too ...
“I thought the only option was to let the house go to auction.”

Over the last 6 months, I’ve learned A LOT about foreclosure, and wow… there is so much I didn’t know, even after being a Realtor and homeowner in multiple states.

I didn’t know there were options before it went to auction, and that there’s a BIG difference between those options. Letting a home go to auction, selling to an investor, selling it on the open market, or doing a short sale can all have very different outcomes.

Back in May, I earned my Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE®) certification with Tony Martinez because I wanted to understand this side of real estate properly and be able to help people look at their options. My heart honestly breaks for people who don’t know they may have other options.

Florida is currently #1 in the country for foreclosures, so chances are you know someone who is dealing with this right now. If they’re in Volusia or Flagler County, have an auction date coming up, or are just starting to fall behind, please send them my way.
