The Long Island Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators recently organized a fantastic "Birthday-In-A-Box" event to support Birthday Wishes, an organization committed to assisting children in domestic violence and homeless shelters. Each beautifully wrapped box is filled with everything needed for a joyful birthday celebration, including party supplies, decorations, and thoughtful gifts for the birthday child. The chapter and its members, along with our supportive Business Partners, generously contributed all the essential items, allowing us to present Birthday Wishes with 30 birthday boxes, additional supplies, and nearly $500 in gift card donations. The collaboration between our members and Business Partners truly made this event a remarkable success.

ALA Long Island once again was honored to host a school supply drive in support of the Family and Children's Association of Long Island to help at-risk youth. With the added support of Amazon who dedicated drivers and trucks to pick up and drop off our donations, the drive was a huge success! The ALA is grateful for the special thank you video they received from FCA!

ALA Long Island Chapter held a school supply drive to benefit Family & Children's Association in August. Over 50 boxes of supplies were gathered for children starting school this coming week.

ALA Long Island’s First Annual Retreat
Join us at our First Annual Retreat. Sunday includes a fun list of events including a visit to an East End orchard and a distillery. The itinerary for Monday includes a yoga session, HR roundtable and keynote speaker, Joshua Evans. We can still accept registration for the events, but regretfully, the hotel rooms are booked.
