This Sunday, our community has another opportunity to come together for the kids. 💙

The Infinity Circle of The King’s Daughters will host its Crocks for Kids event at Big Ugly Brewing in Chesapeake, starting at noon.

The Infinity Circle was founded by a group of women from the Hickory area of Chesapeake with a shared goal of raising funds, friends, and awareness for Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD). Through events and fundraising efforts throughout the year, the group continues to support children and families across our region.

This organization is especially close to Parks Zeigler. Shelly F. Wood, Managing Partner of our Chesapeake office, is a founding member and past president of the Infinity Circle and has been involved in its work supporting CHKD and our community.

Come hungry and help support a great cause. The Infinity Circle will be on site from noon until the food runs out or 6:00 p.m., whichever comes first.

There’s more than one fun fact to share about Ambir L. Zeigler!

Music has been part of Ambir’s life since the beginning. Her family says she sang before she talked, and as a teenager and young adult, she sang every chance she got, from church and local bands to competitions that took her from Virginia Beach to Canada.

But her performing days actually started even earlier.

As a preschooler, Ambir competed in the Little Miss Strawberry Pageant at the Pungo Strawberry Festival. According to family lore, her chances at the crown may have ended when she told the interviewer, “Strawberries are gross!”

She may not have won the strawberry crown, but she definitely gave them an answer worth remembering.

We love getting to share the stories and unexpected talents behind the people who make up the Parks Zeigler team.

With more than 20 years of experience practicing law, Shelly brings an experienced perspective to the conversation.
