Why do I bring this up? Friends and clients often say to me “I want to show you my farm and see what you think”. I almost always have input. We hear it all the time “turn-key” or “premier farm” but is it true? There are certain things that make a farm AWESOME. Yes, you can let things slide. Yes, you can let things go until next year. However, if you expect a strong market value, you need to make it look like a literal wildlife park. Food, access, history, mowed trails, stay on top of weeds! I hate to say it but other than personal farms I have only been on a couple dozen farms where I am like “WOW, this property is cared for and it shows” I have some clients that when I go to one of their farms I know it’s going to be AWESOME. If you want to know what makes a farm AWESOME, reach out. They don’t become awesome on their own. It takes work. I won’t gate keep the info at all. I’m happy to help. 515-729-2879
