If you've ever felt the shadow of su***de—whether it touched your own life, your family, or your friends—you know the silence can be deafening.
The American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP) Central Texas Chapter isn't just a title; it's a personal promise to fight that silence alongside the most dedicated community I know.
We aren't just putting on an event. Next week at St. Edward's University, we will gather 2,000+ souls to transform grief into forward motion. This is where stories are shared, where tears are met with hugs, and where hope becomes utterly tangible.
Our goal to surpass $225,000 isn't about the number itself; it's about the lifesaving programs those dollars fund—the research, the education, the support lines.
This mission is best embodied by our amazing Walk Chair, Ashley Wolf. Her Team Hope Walks Here is walking for every person who felt they couldn't take another step alone. They are walking for connection, understanding, and radical change.
We need your help to make this promise real. Show up. Donate. Just be present.
Every single step matters. Every dollar says, "You are not alone."
