Remember those initiatives you signed in late spring to lower taxes and reverse some 'damage' done during the most recent legislative session? Well, they made it to the ballot thanks to you and here they are. Bob Ferguson wants you confused when you read pages and pages of information the Voters Pamphlet.
These initiatives are not a Democrat or Republican issue. It's a common sense pushback. Our gas prices are some of the highest in the nation and yet, we are a coastal state, which should be to our advantage. If these initiatives don't pass, especially I-2117, we will be paying even higher gas prices which will result in higher prices on groceries and goods, which of course, are transported by vehicles using gas. It's a no-brainer.
VOTE YES !!
So, here it is simplified:
YES I-2066 : Save the option to use Natural Gas in your current home and future builds.
YES I-2019 Repeals a capital gains tax of 7% passed by the legislature in the middle of the night. Essentially a state income tax.
YES I-2117 Repeals the Climate Commitment Act Currently $$$$$ raises gas groceries and utility prices while doing little to get rid of carbon emissions. Voting YES will repeal this TAX.
YES I-2124 Makes Long Term Care Insurance YOUR choice and is no longer automatically deducted from your paycheck. This was the most ridiculous of the tax grabs...AS IF $36,500 lifetime total for each person would be enough LTC insurance to be helpful for anyone. (LTC is currently $6,500-10,000 PER MONTH)
I'll make it sharable. If it FB doesn't allow it, just take a snapshot and paste on your page.
