15 years ago Realtor Ashley Okland was murdered while holding an open house in Des Moines Iowa.  She was 27 years old.

Police just arrested her murderer, Kristin Ramsey, who they say shot Ashley four times. A grand jury returned an indictment immediately.

So this is kind of cool! 

The Pima County Public Library has a Seed Library where you can get free seeds with your library card. Plant them, grow them, and if you’re able, save seeds later to share back. 🌱

Kind of a great idea—especially here where figuring out what grows in the desert can take some trial and error.

Hey Tucson friends! 🌵 Quick heads-up: This Saturday, March 14, you can drop off old papers for free shredding (up to 3 boxes), plus household hazardous stuff like old cleaning products, batteries, paint, propane tanks, pool chemicals, printer cartridges, auto batteries, oil filters, and more!
It’s all happening at Pima Community College West (2202 W. Anklam Rd.) from 8 a.m. to noon, hosted by the City’s Environmental and General Services Department.
Just a reminder—they can’t take unknown chemicals, medical waste (like sharps or meds), business waste, explosives, ammo, or radioactive stuff. For the full list of what’s accepted, check the city’s website.
