A few years ago vs. today.
Same smile.
Same heart.
Very different woman.
The picture on the left was taken during a season where I was busy building everyone and everything around me… but not building myself. I told myself I didn’t have time. I told myself I was “fine.” I told myself I’d start Monday.
The picture on the right is the result of choosing discipline over excuses. Early mornings. Heavy lifts. Hard days. Showing up when I didn’t feel like it. Learning to love strength instead of chasing a number on a scale.
This wasn’t about getting smaller.
It was about getting stronger.
Stronger mentally.
Stronger physically.
Stronger in my confidence.
Stronger in my standards.
There is something powerful that happens when you keep promises to yourself. When you stop negotiating with the voice that says “skip it.” When you decide you deserve to feel strong in your own skin.
I didn’t lose weight overnight.
I built strength rep by rep.
And the best part? I’m not done.
If you’re in a season where you feel behind, tired, or uncomfortable in your own body — let this be your reminder: you are not stuck. You are one decision away from a different trajectory.
Start small.
Lift something heavy.
Drink the water.
Go for the walk.
Keep showing up.
You don’t need a new year.
You need a decision.
And trust me — the future version of you is waiting.
