Our traffic laws are stuck in the 1970s while high-speed e-bikes are filling modern roads.
When a driver blindly turns into a rider and says "I didn't see them," they are admitting to negligence. Yet, insurance companies use outdated legal loopholes to flip the blame onto the victim. We have to put massive public pressure on lawmakers, city planners, and the court system to completely overhaul these ancient traffic codes. If we don't demand immediate legal accountability now, insurance giants will keep using outdated laws to deny medical care to severely injured riders.
