Prenup Price Tag: What Does A Prenup Cost? According to LegalShield, a prenup costs between $1,000 and $10,000. The cost varies depending on where you live and how much stuff you have. The more assets or debts involved, the more prenup will cost. If there are children from a previous relationship involved, that could add to the complexity of the prenup, which will drive up the price.

A prenup is a contract between two people getting married on what will happen with their assets, debts, and other matters if they divorce.

Yesterday was the day, 50 years ago that Harland and Shirley Stonecipher incorporated the great company I represent. Little did they realize the challenges they would face in order to make their vision of equal justice for all a reality, but they never quit even when those seemingly impossible challenges came. Undoubtedly, to me at least, one of the greatest real-life stories ever: turning an accident into the thriving successful international company that PPLSI is today. And not just a company, but a company whose mission is to help all those who join whether as a member or an associate. While there have been many changes over the years, throughout Mr. Stonecipher’s time as CEO and in the years since, that vision has been the driving force behind what we do every day. I’m so incredibly grateful for the sacrifices they and others have made. Happy 50th Anniversary Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc.!

Another happy LegalShield member.
"I went to renew my drivers license in California and was told I couldn't because there was a hold on my account in North Carolina. 😮 Called the NC DMV and was told my license was suspended for outstanding fines from a ticket I got 3 years prior in Kannapolis, NC (a city I'd never been to).

Someone used my drivers license, plead guilty in court as me, then never paid their court fines, which led to a warrant for me in NC!
😳 The DMV told me I'd need to pay the fines to drive legally or hire a lawyer in NC if I wanted to fight it!

I hung up feeling pretty relieved that I do actually have a law firm in North Carolina, thanks to LegalShield, but this time I tapped my IDShield app and got connected with an awesome licensed investigator. He did some research, made some calls, got me connected with the right people and within 1 week I was driving again legally and it all cost me $0.

My investigator took another week to clear up the warrant in NC. I love my LegalShield & IDShield! Without them, what would I have done in this situation -- fly across the country and hire a lawyer? It would have been cheaper to pay the fines.

The police officer I spoke with in NC told me he hoped my investigator didn't cost me too much because he was awesome!! All this happened because someone stole my drivers license info; think about all the places we write that number down .... when we get jobs, apartments, at hotels, anywhere?! People need these services!"

Just a quick success story - Bought a vehicle from Avis car sales in November 2020, they promised me a 2nd key. I called and emailed many times with no action. Contacted my provider attorney June 10, 2021. They wrote letters to the Avis location I purchased the vehicle and to Avis Legal Department. Gave them 60 days to respond or face legal action. Received a call (50 days later) from a Regional manager that his legal department had contacted him and told him to take care of it. Very apologetic and said he would do whatever he needed to make me happy. Five days later I had a mobile locksmith sent to my house and had a new key. $328 issue handled for the price of my membership.

This is for all you parent's out there...

MEMBER STORY OF THE DAY:
"My daughter called me from her High School principal's office. They were trying to force her to sign a paper admitting guilt to something SHE DIDN'T DO. (They needed a scapegoat)
As an AP student, anything on her record would be tragic and could affect her college choices and scholarship offers.
I called our Provider Law Firm and told them what was happening. Due to the urgency of the situation, her attorney called me back within 5 minutes!
He informed me that even a minor has the right to "refuse to sign"
Also, he said if they punish her in any way for not signing, we could pursue legal action.
When I relayed the info to the Vice Principal informing her of my daughters rights per her attorney, they immediately backpedaled and changed their story!
Thank you for always letting us know where we stand in any life events situation without charging us an hourly fee!"

Over the Supreme Court it says “Equal Justice Under Law.” Unfortunately, no where inside does it tell us how to pay for it until Harland C Stonecipher, founded Pre-Paid Legal Services which is now LegalShield. You can actually look in your wallet and see how much legal you can afford!
