After much thought, I’ve decided to take a break from assisting with rental applications/rental properties or leases.

While I always give every client my best effort, the final decision is made by the landlord or property management company not me. I have no authority over their screening criteria, approval process, or final decisions. Unfortunately, I’ve been repeatedly blamed and badgered over outcomes that are completely outside of my control.

I also have no control over application fees or refund policies. Most, if not all, property management companies require a non-refundable application fee before processing an application. Even though those fees are not paid to me and I have no authority to issue refunds, I still go to bat for my clients by reaching out to property management companies to request refunds whenever possible.

I take pride in running a professional business built on honesty, integrity, and respect. I want to keep it that way, and I will no longer accept being badgered, blamed, or treated unfairly over decisions that I do not make and cannot control.

To protect my peace and continue providing the highest level of service, I will be stepping away from rentals for the time being and focusing on real estate sales.

To everyone who has trusted me, supported me, and treated me with kindness and respect thank you. I truly appreciate you and look forward to continuing to help buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals.
