Partner Profile: John E. Kawczynski
Mr. Kawczynski is a founding member of the firm Field Womack and Kawczynski. Prior to founding the firm, he was an attorney with a major Philadelphia-based firm for five years and served a two year term as the law clerk to the Honorable Robert D. Kaplan, District Chief Administrative Law Judge, U.S Department of Labor in the Camden, New Jersey office. Working as a clerk, he prepared decisions and orders in cases arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and the Black Lung Benefits Act, as well as workplace standards cases coming before the Department of Labor. Mr. Kawczynski is a frequent author and lecturer on Longshore related topics. He also serves as the Municipal Prosecutor in the Township of Piscataway, NJ and South Amboy, NJ. Mr. Kawczynski got his B.A from Boston College and recieved his J.D from Villanova University in 1993.

Partner Profile: Francis "Mac" Womack, III
Mr. Womack is a founding member of Field Womack and Kawczynski and has practiced in the State of New Jersey since 1985. His work has primarily focused upon litigation of administrative, municipal and workers' compensation cases at the federal and state levels. He has served as an attorney to a municipal Board of Zoning Adjustment since 2006. From 2001 to 2003 Mr. Womack served as a Councilman and as Council President in North Brunswick, NJ. Since 2004 he has served the town as Mayor. Mr. Womack received his B.A from the University of Southern Alabama and his J.D from the University of Baltimore where he graduated in 1984.

Partner Profile: Chris Field
Christopher J. Field is a founding member of Field Womack and Kawczynski and dedicates a substantial amount of time to the defense of claims brought under Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act representing both insurance carriers and self insured employers. He is a frequent lecturer and author on topics related to the Longshore Act. Mr. Field received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University and recieved his J.D from NYU in 1991. Before founding Field Womack and Kawczynski Mr. Field was a partner at two different firms, Gallagher & Field (1993-1997) and Weber Goldstein Greenberg and Gallagher LLP (1997-2000)
