So the Estate is Insolvent. How does that impact YOU? Did the executor tell you that you will not receive anything from your dad's estate because it is insolvent? Sometimes that's the case. You may have to have a different type of probate estate and administration. Perhaps you will need to transfer the case to the Chancery Court. Perhaps you'll have to sell real estate that was promised to the lawful heirs of the estate.

In this video Dan Scott describes some of the questions that need to be answered in order to resolve that question. Surely, being an outcast child, one who is not favored by the other siblings, shouldn't be enough for you to lose your inheritance.
