A big step forward for Georgia homeowners! Thank you to Gov. Kemp for signing Senate Bill 33 into law this week. This legislation delivers meaningful property tax relief by strengthening homestead protections, creating new tools to lower property tax burdens, and reinforcing transparency so local governments remain accountable to taxpayers when making budget decisions.
