"Charles Raley is an excellent attorney who knows maritime law in-side-out, a practice of law that is very complicated to interpret. Charles is able to break this intricate law down, isolating on key points. Equally important, he is a genuinely good person and a nice guy all around. Charles handled my dear sister’s wrongful death, in which she was killed and her body lost to the Sea. My sister and I were extremely close, and her death was completely consuming and devastating for me. Charles worked tirelessly for over two years while the opposition tried unsuccessfully to get the case thrown out of court under false premises. Over the two years, Charles was so supportive and cared sincerely not only for me, but he also cared about my sister, her life and who she was as a person. Charles treated both me and my deceased sister as his clients, and he clearly cared about what happened to her. He has an innate ability to work with the utmost professionalism, while being intimately involved in the life of his client(s). Also, Charles has a commanding presence in the courtroom due to his sophisticated knowledge of maritime law, combined with his kindness and sincerity.
