Our Story
Sarah Workman Checcone, Esq., is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, licensed attorney, Communication Counselor, Certified Parent and Family Coach, Certified Personality Type & Temperament Practitioner, and has trained in the practice of Faith-Based Peacemaking.
As a mother of four children, as well as a daughter, a support group leader, etc., Sarah's passion, purpose, and calling is peacemaking. Making peace among people, and making peace within ourselves. As a counselor/advocate, Sarah's mission is to support individuals, families, couples, and teams facing communication challenges and/or difficult seasons of conflict with compassion, validation, professionalism, and real, lasting, effective solutions.
Whether a family is experiencing conflict due to elder care decision-making, clashing parenting styles, or dissolution, or a professional partnership is feeling the strain of clashing managerial approaches, Sarah gives each client her full focus and attention, and proceeds to support and guide all parties through their conflict situation to greater self awareness, understanding and empowerment, and responsible resolution.
As a parent and licensed attorney, Sarah especially highly recommends the Collaborative Divorce approach for a more respectful, collaborative dissolution process over the extensive, costly, and emotionally exhausting litigation. Sarah has provided many clients support and assistance through various professional supportive roles such as Parenting Coordination, Family Mediation, Communication Coaching and Conflict Resolution, Sarah’s skill set supports a family’s collaborative divorce experience to help guide coparents to make healthy decisions in a family, help a child find his/her voice, or respectfully and sanely end a marital relationship.
