The Pepperdine Student Bar Association serves as the Student Government to the School of Law. The SBA consists of an Executive Board, three 3L representatives, three 2L representatives, and three 1L Representatives. Elections take place at the end of the school year, with the exception of the 1L elections, which take place at the beginning of the school year. The SBA is responsible for a number of
events throughout the school year and performs a number of functions. First and foremost, the SBA represents the unified voice of the Students to the Administration. This includes meeting with the Deans on behalf of the Students and organizing forums to discuss pressing issues to the School of Law. Second, the SBA distributes funding to the multiple clubs and organizations at the School of Law. Lastly, and certainly most visibly, the SBA organizes the annual Law School Barristers Ball and beach day in the Fall as well as the Law School Dinner after party in the Spring. All students are encouraged to attend any SBA meetings. Updates regarding events and other information will be posted on this page.
