On Target Firearms Instruction We offer courses in firearms safety, basic pistol, and the NRA certified course compatible with Michigan's CPL requirements All skills levels accepted.

We are a local Sanford, MI based business. On Target teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense. This course meets the State of Michigan requirements for the pistol safety training course required for the application of a Co

ncealed Pistol License (CPL). On Target also offers:

Instruction in selection, purchase, and safe handling of a firearm

The NRA's Firearms Safety and Basic Pistol courses

We offer private classes, small and large groups. Participant requirements: Must be 21 years of age for CPL instruction. For safety courses, please call for age and family information. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, orientation, or any other personal factors or abilities. We are open to all and all are welcome.
