My client spent years trying to figure out how to make the space work for her and we decided to completely open up one large wall and pony wall and closed up the walkway from the entrance allowing us to add an island and rearrange the flow of the kitchen. Another before and after kitchen remodel! The homeowner loves to cook and deserved a new updated open plan with lots of storage! We took out 2 walls and a hall closet, and added flooring where the step was in order to give them what they wanted. Now she can enjoy cooking and entertaining around her new island!
