A story every every American should see.

Nurse Unseen is a powerful documentary that shines a light on the history, sacrifices, and resilience of Filipino nurses in America, especially those who risked their lives on the frontlines of COVID-19 while far from home.

For generations, Filipino nurses have been an important part of the American healthcare system, yet their stories have often gone unseen.

This is more than a movie, it’s a story about our people, our history, our sacrifices, and our contributions to America.

The APIAVote & AAPI Data’s 2026 Asian American Voter Survey Briefing is taking place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM ET.

Mark your calendars—the 2026 Asian American Voter Survey (AAVS) is almost here!

Join us for a briefing on newly released findings from the AAVS, the longest-running pre-election survey of Asian American voters.

Since 2012, this multilingual survey has tracked how our community thinks about elections, parties, candidates, and the issues that motivate civic engagement. The AAVS helps community organizations and campaigns better understand this fast-growing electorate and regularly informs coverage by news outlets such as The New York Times, NBC News, and The Washington Post.

APAICS Salt Lake City Regional Leadership Academy

The APAICS Regional Leadership Academy (RLA) is a two-day leadership training event created to demystify the process of running for office. RLAs provide current elected officials, individuals seeking to run for public office, and community stakeholders with the framework for running a successful campaign. Participants gain practical skills in campaign strategy, communications, fundraising, and community organizing. This program is designed to empower individuals to pursue leadership roles and make an impact in their communities. The Salt Lake City RLA will utilize scenarios based on elected positions in the state of Utah; however, participants do not have to be from Utah or the Salt Lake City area to participate.

We’re joining government agencies and organizations across the country to raise awareness about imposter scams. Learn the signs of an imposter scam so you can avoid them. ejcc.acl.gov/imposters

Did you see or experience an imposter scam? Report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Your report makes a difference.

If someone says they’re from the government and tells you to move your money or put it in a federal locker, that’s an imposter scam. No one from the government will ever tell you that your money isn’t safe and you must move it to “protect it.” Only a scammer will. ejcc.acl.gov/imposters

Did someone call, text, or email and say you have to pay the government immediately, in a specific way, or you’ll be in trouble? That’s a government imposter. No one from the government will ever demand payment only with gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or a payment app. Only a scammer will. ejcc.acl.gov/imposters

Did you get a call, email, or text message saying you might be eligible for a government grant or program? Nobody from the government will ever get in touch to demand your Social Security number to see if you qualify. Only a scammer will. ejcc.acl.gov/imposters
