NOTICIA DE ULTIMA HORA: Se anuncia requisitos de registro de extranjeros: el incumplimiento podría resultar en multas, tiempo en la cárcel incluyendo deportación.

A partir del 25 de febrero de 2025, los inmigrantes no registrados de 14 años o más que permanezcan en los EE. UU. durante 30 días o más deberán registrarse a través de un nuevo proceso de USCIS, y los padres serán responsables de registrar a los menores de 14 años.

El incumplimiento podría resultar en cargos criminales (multas de hasta $1,000 y hasta 6 meses en la cárcel), sanciones civiles y deportación.

La mayoría de los extranjeros ya están registrados, pero aquellos que ingresaron sin inspección o los solicitantes de DACA/TPS sin prueba de registro deben actuar ahora, segun USCIS.

BREAKING: New Alien Registration Enforcement Announced – Failure to Comply Could Result in Fines, Jail Time, and Deportation

Starting February 25, 2025, unregistered aliens aged 14 or older who remain in the U.S. for 30 days or longer must register through a new USCIS process., with parents responsible for children under 14.
Failure to comply could result in criminal charges (up to $1,000 fines and 6 months in jail), civil penalties, and deportation.

Most noncitizens are already registered, but those who entered without inspection or applicants for DACA/TPS without proof of registration must act now, according to USCIS.

No existe un límite de tiempo para aplicar y calificar para una visa U luego de ser víctima de un crimen calificativo. El primer paso es obtener una certificación del departamento de policía que confirme el crimen sufrido y tu colaboración en la investigación o enjuiciamiento del delito.

Incluso hemos obtenido certificaciones por crímenes ocurridos hace mas de 22 años atras. Los sospechosos nunca fueron atrapados ni identificados, pero aún así se pudo presentar la solicitud de visa U.

Llamanos y sal de dudas. Podrias obtener un camino hacia la residencia legal para ti y para tu familia. Tambien un permiso de trabajo en lo que la visa U es aceptada.
