URGENT UPDATE: Nepal Death Toll Nearly Doubles
Six days after a glacier collapse sent floodwaters crashing into Rasuwa and Nuwakot, the scale of this disaster has grown far beyond what we first reported. Back then, 95 were confirmed dead. Today, that number has surpassed 1,000, and the number of missing has climbed even faster. Nepal's disaster agency has now listed roughly 4,500 names of people still unaccounted for.
