📋 Did you know Virginia has two types of notary commissions?

Whether you’re just starting out or leveling up, here’s what every Virginia notary should know: a Traditional Notary Public handles in-person, pen-and-paper notarizations, while an Electronic Notary Public ✍️💻 has the same authority but performs notarizations electronically.

One catch — you must hold a traditional commission before you can become an eNotary.

✅ Want to go electronic? Step 1 is always getting your traditional commission first.

Start traditional. Go electronic. Stay informed. 📌 That’s the VAN way.

And the bigger problem?

Some of the things people are telling notaries to use AI for could put you on the WRONG side of your state’s notary rules. ⚠️

That’s why we created **AI Prompts For Notaries** — a practical collection of **58 copy-and-paste prompts** built specifically around the everyday work of mobile notaries and signing agents.

Use AI to help you:

✅ Write client confirmations & reminders
✅ Handle no-shows and difficult conversations
✅ Create mileage & profitability spreadsheets
✅ Build local SEO content
✅ Write Google Business Profile posts
✅ Market to title companies & escrow officers
✅ Create B2B follow-up sequences
