Lent shares many overlapping observances with both the Islamic concept of zakat and the Hebrew concept of tsedakah: they all encourage charitable work and helping our neighbors.

Jump Start Legal Justice Center celebrates the win that allows us to continue our lawsuit on behalf of students at the University of Texas-Austin against University officials and Board members who retaliated against the students when they exercised their First Amendment rights. Along with ADC, Chris Godshall-Bennett, Maria Kari and attorneys at MLFA, Jump Start Legal Justice Center proudly looks forward to continuing litigation for these students.
