A few things to keep in mind:
• When a light turns green, take a moment before moving forward
• Give yourself about a second and a half to check that the intersection is clear
• Pay attention to traffic signs and what’s happening around you

Slowing down for just a moment can give you more time to see what’s ahead.

Continuing our National Preparedness Month traffic safety series with a few more reminders for staying aware on the road.🚗

A few things to keep in mind:
• Try the Dutch Reach before opening your car door in areas with cyclists and scooters
• Check your mirrors regularly so you know who is beside you and behind you, especially when someone is tailgating you

A few extra seconds of awareness can go a long way when you’re behind the wheel.

What were we up to this past weekend?

We were so excited to support Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue | NRGRR in Pittsboro! It was such an incredible day, bringing together an amazing community (and plenty of adorable doggy pals) for a great cause.

We were especially excited to see so many riders come out this year to participate and show their support! 🚴‍♀️🐶💙
