When people leave and walk away,
And no one is beside you to stay,
If Allah is holding your hand,
You are safe in any land.
You can reach what seems too far,
Even if you are small like a star.
No matter what your past has been,
Or what hard times your eyes have seen,
If Allah wants you to grow and bloom,
Light will fill your darkest room.
Though the heart is soft and kind,
A steady strength will wake inside.
If Allah decides you stand up tall,
No power on earth can make you fall.
Remember who was so afraid
To sit alone in the dark she made?
Now she lives in a place,
With quiet tears and a smiling face.
She learns to work, she learns to stand,
Walking alone in a distant land.
She hides her tears behind a smile,
And walks ahead for many a mile.
She fights her fears, she wins the race,
With peace and courage in her place.
The woman she didn’t hoped to see—
And that is the beauty of life's decree.

Cheers to the year that taught me kindness is a sin,
And that having "pure intentions" is where the losses begin.
I’ve learned to be quiet while my dignity fades,
Navigating a life made of sharp, hidden blades.
To ask is to suffer, to love is to fail,
In a world where the liars and bullies prevail.
They break you for sport with a cold, hollow grace,
Leaving a trauma that time can’t erase.
But here is the twist in their pathetic game:
They gave you a fire they can’t hope to tame.
The sickness they planted grew roots made of steel,
Turning your pain into something quite real.
They tried to destroy you and leave you behind,
But they built a titan inside of your mind.
Let them keep their cruelty and all they have won,
You are the iron that outshines the sun.

Even when the weight of the world feels overwhelming and 2025 hasn't unfolded as you envisioned, hold onto the truth that your current trials are secretly forging your strength. Losing your home or your health doesn't signify the loss of your future; rather, it's a testament to your transformation into a resilient individual capable of overcoming any adversity. Every page turned in your books and every adjustment of your hijab is a declaration to the world that your spirit remains unbroken. You don't need those who have dismissed your pain; all you need is the inner fire that fuels your perseverance. Your confidence may seem dormant now, but it's regenerating, growing stronger with each smile and each lesson learned amidst tears. You aren't defined by your losses, but by the extraordinary person you are evolving into.

A heavy dawn of suffocating anxiety,
The clock ticking like a heartbeat in a hollow chest,
Suspense tightening its grip, a wire pulled thin,
Waiting for the sky to break,
Waiting for the floor to fall.
Then the rain came—
A deluge of salt-streaked tears and midnight tremors,
Life unspooling in a blur of unpredictable happenings,
The sudden fracture of old dreams,
The jarring shift of tectonic plates beneath my feet,
Nothing stayed where I put it.
I lived in the "miserable happy,"
A paradox of sunlight and shadows,
Finding laughter in the middle of a wreck,
Grasping at joy that felt heavy as lead,
Moments of beauty that made my heart ache with their cost,
The exhaustion of holding it all together
While the world insisted on falling apart.
But the seasons turned, and the skin shed,
The agonizing change became a quiet clearing,
The tears washed the dust from my vision,
Until the chaos became a landscape I finally understood.
Now, a soft exhale in the twilight,
No more flinching at the thunder,
Just a heart that beats with a tired, honest rhythm,
Looking back at the ruins and the roses,
A long-awaited peace,
A happy, final goodbye to the year that changed everything.
