Last week I graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and I’m truly celebrating this milestone.
After months of working tirelessly through this program, developing and refining my business growth plan, and challenging myself to think more strategically about the future of my business, reaching this moment feels especially meaningful.
This experience was so much more than completing a business program. It connected me with phenomenal business owners and like minded visionaries, while creating intentional space to step away from the day to day demands of running a business and focus on strategic growth, leadership, and long term vision.
As a mom of three, attorney, business owner, and community advocate, life often comes with many competing demands and responsibilities. Taking time to intentionally invest in myself and my business, strengthen my leadership, and equip myself with the tools needed to grow with greater focus and intentionality was incredibly meaningful.
I’m walking away with meaningful relationships, fresh perspective, renewed energy, and a stronger foundation for the next phase of growth. This experience reminded me that sometimes one of the greatest investments we can make in our businesses is investing in ourselves.
