RFE from USCIS? Don’t let it ruin your case! Here’s how to avoid it:
1️⃣ Show your strongest proof
Marriage-based green card? Prove your marriage is real.
O-1 petition? Show why you’re extraordinary.

2️⃣ Connect the dots
Don’t just hand over documents — explain what they mean.
A joint bank account shows shared finances.
A joint lease shows shared living.
Together, they tell the full story of a shared life.

3️⃣ Make it easy for USCIS to say “yes”
Don’t leave room for questions.
Caption photos, label documents, highlight dates and events. Make it crystal clear why you qualify.

What’s the biggest trend for immigration in 2025?

USCIS is using every application as an opportunity to dig into your entire immigration history — how you got your first visa, how you came to the U.S., any past mistakes, even old marriages.
This is the “extra scrutiny” we’re seeing under the current administration.

Officers aren’t just checking if you qualify for the benefits you’re applying for now — they’re also looking for reasons to take away benefits you were granted in the past.

Before submitting any new application, review your old filings. Talk to an immigration attorney, identify red flags, understand the risks, and explore possible solutions.

USCIS just launched a major fraud crackdown in Minnesota — and it could be a sign of what’s coming nationwide.

In this operation, officers made over 900 site visits and found suspected fraud in 275 cases, mostly involving marriage-based green cards and work permits.

They’re now working with ICE and the FBI. So far, 42 individuals have been placed in deportation proceedings and 4 people have been arrested. These numbers are expected to rise as investigations continue.

This marks a big shift toward stricter enforcement, especially for family-based cases under the Trump administration.

If your case is pending, be prepared: make sure your documents are accurate, your story is consistent, and your marriage is real.

The IRS is sharing taxpayer information with ICE — and it could put people at risk.

Outdated addresses and imperfect records mean ICE could show up at the wrong door.

Paying taxes shouldn’t create personal risk, but privacy concerns are real.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

This is my favorite quote from MLK. Amazing insight into why good wins over bad - if you choose that path.
