Civil litigation is often the only path victims have to force truth into the open and hold institutions accountable.

Recognition among the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in Texas reflects that work and the people it serves.

Protection. Accountability. Justice.

That “suspicious silence” when the kids are quiet and everyone finally gets a second to breathe?
That is often when children are most vulnerable online.

This conversation with Haley McNamara on Outcry Witness Unspoken dives into the reality parents are facing, why families should stop blaming themselves, and how impossible it has become to keep children safe when tech companies continue putting profit before protection.

Parents were never meant to fight billion dollar tech companies alone.

If a predator approached a child at a playground, every parent would step in immediately.

But now predators are entering homes through phones, games, apps, social media, and school devices while children sit just a few feet away from their families.

That is the reality parents are facing today.

In this episode of Outcry Witness Unspoken, Haley McNamara breaks down how online grooming, s*xtortion, and exploitation are escalating behind screens while Big Tech companies continue avoiding accountability.

This conversation is uncomfortable.
It is terrifying.
And every parent needs to hear it.

A reported s*x trafficker account could allegedly receive up to 16 reports before major action was taken.

Read that again.

According to testimony discussed in this episode of Outcry Witness Unspoken, Meta allegedly allowed accounts tied to suspected s*x trafficking to remain active until a 17th strike.

That is not a glitch.
That is not a mistake.
That is a system failing children and families.

This conversation with Haley McNamara from the National Center on Sexual Exploitation is one every parent, teacher, caregiver, and policymaker needs to hear.

New Outcry Witness Unspoken is live with Haley McNamara from the National Center on Sexual Exploitation and this is one of the most important conversations this podcast has had yet.

Big Tech lobbyists are flooding Congress while parents are overwhelmed, exhausted, and desperately trying to keep their children safe online. Meanwhile, the people making billions off these platforms continue avoiding accountability.

This episode will make you angry.
It should.

Parents deserve to know what is happening behind closed doors at these companies and why children are paying the price.

Dominique Pelicot drugged his wife, facilitated her repeated assaults by other men, and let her believe she was dying of cancer while it continued.

That is calculated, sustained psychological and s*xual torture.

Gisèle Pelicot’s truth is nonnegotiable: shame must change sides. It belongs to perpetrators.

A survivor should never have to sit in a courtroom wondering whether their pain will be taken seriously because they drank alcohol, wore a short skirt, stayed in a relationship, or did not react to trauma the way people expected them to.

That is not justice. That is cruelty disguised as credibility.

For years, survivors have been torn apart by questions designed to shame them instead of expose the person who caused the harm in the first place. Entire lives have been picked apart while the focus shifts away from the abuse and onto the survivor’s behavior, clothing, relationships, or coping mechanisms.

Enough.

Trauma is messy. Survival is messy. Human beings are messy. None of that makes abuse acceptable and none of it makes a survivor less worthy of being believed.

These conversations matter because there are still people sitting in silence right now convinced they will be blamed if they speak up.

That silence is costing people their voices, their healing, and sometimes even their lives.

Thank you to Beyond the Monsters for being willing to have the conversations so many people still avoid.

The reality of trauma, CSA cases, family court, victim blaming, survival, and healing deserves to be talked about openly because survivors deserve better than silence.

One of the hardest truths learned as a prosecutor is that not every offender responds to treatment in the same way.

Licensed specialists who work exclusively with s*x offenders often testify that individuals with a s*xual interest in prepubescent children present an especially serious and enduring risk.

That does not mean treatment has no role. It means the safety of children must remain the highest priority.

Children deserve to be protected.

Survivors deserve to be believed.

And the justice system must take these cases with the seriousness they demand.

What age is actually safe for social media?

14? 16? Older?

Countries are already moving toward strict limits. Some are pushing 16 and under bans. Others are setting the line at 14.

A smarter rule? No social media until a child is mature enough to handle real world responsibility.

Because this is not harmless scrolling.

Kids are being contacted. Kids are being targeted. The risk is real and the data proves it.

This is not about restriction. This is about protection.

Set the boundary. Stay involved. Do not wait for something to go wrong.

20 years. That is how long it stayed inside.

Everything looked fine on the outside, but something was still off. The weight of it does not just disappear. It builds. It sits there. It shows up in ways you cannot ignore.

Then one night, it all came out. Every word. No holding back.

That moment changed everything.
