Wife,
before your husband wakes up, cover him in prayer. Marriage is beautiful, but this is Kingdom work. You were not called to only love him, you were called to cover him. Pray over his mind, his heart, his steps, and the battles he never speaks about. Ask God to guard him from anxiety, discouragement, temptation, confusion, and silent pressure. Pray that his thoughts are kept in perfect peace, that his heart is protected, and that his steps are ordered by the Lord. Plead the blood of Jesus over him and ask God to clothe him in His armor so he can stand firm in every battle. Cover your marriage, your children, and your home with peace, unity, restoration, provision, and faith. Prayer changes things, even when he doesn’t see it yet, even when you’re tired, even when you don’t know what to say. This is how you war for your covenant, not just wish for it.

Things I stopped doing in marriage as a wife.

1. I stopped keeping everything in my heart.
Now I communicate, even when it feels uncomfortable.
Silence nearly destroved what communication could fix.

2. I stopped comparing my marriage to others.
Social media is a highlight reel ❤️ real love grows in private.

3. I stopped trying to be perfect
I'm learning that mv husband needs me real, not flawless.

4. I stopped expecting him to "just know." I speak up about what I need, what I like, and what I don't.

5. I stopped giving from an empty cup. Self-care is not selfish. A wife who rests loves better.

6. I stopped apologizing for having emotions. Marriage is partnership, not performance.

7. I stopped sweeping issues under the carpet. Little misunderstandings grow if you don't face them early.

8. I stopped neglecting my own dreams. Marriage didn't end my identity 🤞🏾 it added to it.

9. I stopped assuming he doesn't care because he's quiet. Men show love differently. I learned to understand his style.

10. I stopped fighting to win arguments. These days, I fight for understanding, not victory.

11. I stopped forgetting to appreciate him. A simple "thank you" has saved many moments.

12. I stopped thinking vulnerability makes me weak
Opening up actually brought us closer.
