Please join us for a day at the Capitol where we will be meeting with Lawmakers to advocate for the Earned Release Credits bill. This bill would allow folks to get time off their sentence for good behavior and partaking in programs. It is important that the folks most affected by the justice system....

Today we celebrate the two-year anniversary of our Legal Administrator, Jason.

Little back story. Before Jason joined us he was a client of ours. After we successfully restored his rights in 2021, he knew that he wanted to be a part of what we do. Jason would call Michael from time to time to see if we were hiring. To be fair, he bugged the crap out of Michael, Lol, but his persistent paid off.

Since Jason joined us he has achieved many amazing things. He became a Notary of the State of Arizona in 2022, had his criminal case records sealed in 2023 and this year, received his Paralegal Certification and became a Master Mason.

Jason, there is no limit to what you can accomplish. You constantly strive for more and to be better. Michael and I are so proud of you and we're beyond grateful to have you on our team. We truly appreciate and love you!

Happy Anniversary...here's to many more!!

Hey y'all. It's Leah here. I shared this post on my personal page and I'd like to share it here because it's all of you that we do this work for. It is our passion.

"Michael and I work hard. Sun up to sun down. We live tired but today is the reason why.

We had a client retain late last year. There have been a few hurdles. The State recently objected, requesting a hearing in a few weeks. We submitted our reply and within 5 days, the court ruled in our favor without the hearing, granting in full.

I called Michael to let him know when I saw the email come through. These phone calls to our clients are our favorite kind. I built a fondness with her when she retained so he asked me if I wanted to do this one. Gladly.

When I called she was on her way home from picking up her grandchildren from school. She made a huge mistake in her past and today I got to tell her that the judge granted the set aside of conviction and judgment of guilt, restoring her civil rights. She cried, I cried.

I don't share details of our work often but this one got me. What we do matters. We still have a little more work to do for this client once she's eligible for additional relief but for today, she knows that her past is behind her and that's just really fu***ng cool."

Cameryn is a native Arizonian. She was born and raised in the Valley of the Sun. Cameryn joins Restore My Civil Rights following spending the past 4.5 years with Safeway. She brings her attention to detail, strong work ethic and ability to multitask to our team. She looks forward to assisting our clients through their experience in restoring their rights.

While away from the office Cameryn enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking and baking, attending comic-con, crafting, crocheting and spending time with her cat, Matilda.
