Sending hugs to John's wife, Melissa, and Ainsley, John's daughter. Melissa, your husband & Ainsley, your dad, was a GIANT of a man.
Ainsley, I met your dad about 15 years ago, when he was part of a VAREP (Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals) Washington, DC Policy Panel on Veterans issues. I had the honor to host that panel when he and Mark Connor spoke to our membership.
John is remembered for his remarkable sense of humor and an infectious enthusiasm for every aspect of life. He clearly understood and instinctively recognized the critical importance of maintaining open communication with those of us on the front lines, with boots on the ground, so that he and his team could receive real-time insights on how to best serve veterans.
To you, John, even though you were NAVY LOL... as an old Air Force song goes... "So here's a nickel on the grass to you, my friends, and your spirits, enthusiasm, sacrifice, and courage - but most of all to your friendships. Your's is a dying breed, and when you are gone, the world will be a lesser place."
