How do I start investing in real estate? 🤔 💭
🤔💭 Maybe you should first research all of the different real estate investment strategies. You can talk to a few experienced real estate investors. Find someone to shadow or mentor you. Then, decide which strategy is best for you.
📝 You may want to consider wholesaling properties if you have little to no money. This will allow you to generate income without having to invest much; except for your time, building relationships and paying for lead generation software.
🏘 🏢Once you start making a little money, maybe you can add Airbnb rentals to your portfolio. Maybe start with 1 Airbnb rental and see how that works out for you.
🏚 As you start generating more income, you can possibly start flipping properties and investing in multi-unit properties. With multi-unit properties, you can live in 1 unit and rent the other units. This may allow you to save money on renting somewhere else, while making passive income from your other units.
😉 After you’ve become a seasoned investor, then maybe diversify your portfolio by doing joint-venture (JV) deals with other real estate investors, real estate crowdfunding or investing in new multi family properties.
🔑 The key to success is being patient, learning from a mentor or someone else who has already has the experience, and building solid relationships with lenders, contractors, real estate agents & other real estate investors.
