Yesterday, we had the pleasure of kicking off our "2024 Seminar Series" at Warner Vineyards (many thanks for providing a great meeting location❤️). The event was a great success, attracting numerous attendees interested in expanding their knowledge and skills. We were thrilled to see such an enthusiastic turn out and are looking forward to the remaining seminars in this series.

✅Our first seminar was led by Chris Moraitis from the Schuitmaker Moraitis Law Office. The topic of the session was "Estate Planning", a key issue that many people often overlook until it is too late. Chris shared his extensive knowledge and expertise on the subject, providing invaluable insights and practical advice to all attendees.

It is with heartbreaking news that we share the passing of Attorney Harold Schuitmaker. Below is his obituary detailing his historic life of service and generosity.

Schuitmaker Law will remain open moving forward in honor of Attorney Schuitmaker and his lifelong commitment to practicing the law. Attorney Tonya Schuitmaker and Associate Attorney Christopher Moraitis will be handling cases moving forward. Harold endorsed, mentored, and believed in Attorney Moraitis to assist carrying on his legacy. Christopher N. Moraitis of Schuitmaker, Moraitis Law Office, P.C., Paw Paw Michigan is admitted to the Michigan bar. Christopher practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, mediation of probate cases, municipal law, corporations and real estate. He received a Bachelor of Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy with special honors in 2020 after attending Michigan State University. Throughout college, Christopher served as the Social Event Chair for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Christopher went on to attend Michigan State University Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor with honors in 2023. In Law School, Christopher served as the Student Liaison for multiple State Bar of Michigan Sections including the Business Law Section, and Probate and Estate Planning Attorney. As an Attorney, Christopher remains an active member in these sections plus the Real Property Law Section, Solo & Small Firm Section, and Young Lawyers section.

Christopher values the importance of community connections as well. He is an active member in the Greek Orthodox church. Christopher is also a member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association and the Van Buren County Bar Association. Christopher is extremely excited to join the law practice of Schuitmaker, Moraitis Law Office, P.C. His mentor, Harold Schuitmaker's unique perspective and innovative ideas serve as a wellspring of inspiration, fueling creativity and encouraging a fresh approach to challenges.
