This is the side of lost pet recovery most people don’t see — the late nights, long drives, and urgency that comes with trying to bring someone’s pet home.

When a dog is missing, every hour matters. Thermal drones can make a huge difference, especially overnight and early in the morning when heat signatures stand out better.

🚧 **New Lost Cat Database Page in Progress** 🚧

I’ve started building a new page for **SkyView Drone Services MN** to help track unknown cat sightings during lost pet searches, trail camera checks, live trap setups, and recovery calls.

The page is not fully operational yet, but the goal is to create a searchable **Lost Cat Sighting Database** where people can eventually check recent sightings by:

🐾 Color
🐾 Pattern
🐾 Size
🐾 Location
🐾 Date seen
🐾 Photos when available

I’m hoping this can become a useful tool for missing cat owners across Minnesota, especially when multiple similar cats are being seen in the same area.

I would really appreciate input from cat owners, rescuers, trappers, lost pet groups, and anyone who has experience with missing cats.

What features would help most?
What information should be included?
What would make this easier for people to use?

🚨 Big Plans Coming for Lost Cat Recovery in Minnesota 🚨

I’m working on building something new through SkyView Drone Services MN to help families find missing cats faster and give the community a better way to track possible sightings.

The plan is to create a Lost & Stray Cat Sighting Database where I can log cats I see while out doing drone searches, night scans, trail camera checks, and recovery calls.

Each sighting may include:

🐾 Color
🐾 Pattern
🐾 Size
🐾 Date and time seen
🐾 General location found
🐾 Behavior
🐾 Possible photo
🐾 Status updates if trapped, confirmed, or reunited

The goal is simple:

If someone loses a cat, they’ll be able to check recent sightings and see if one of the cats logged could possibly be theirs.

I also want to start offering lost cat recovery equipment rentals and sales, including:

✅ Small live traps
✅ Large live traps
✅ Trail cameras
✅ Cellular cameras that notify the owner when something is detected
✅ Trap + camera recovery kits

This would help people monitor feeding stations, confirm if their cat is still in the area, and avoid guessing all night without knowing what is actually showing up.

My goal with all of this is to build a better lost pet recovery system for Minnesota — one that combines:

🚁 Thermal drone searching
📍 Sighting records
📸 Trail camera monitoring
🐈 Live trap support
📋 Missing cat reports
🤝 Community help

Helping people find their pets is one part of the job. Helping families stay organized, hopeful, and focused during a stressful search is just as important.

This is still in the planning stages, but I wanted to share what I’m working toward.
