Reminder that we have weekly meetings on Thursdays at 8:00pm in Keck 130.

Last week we brainstormed ideas for a new UX Society website and ended up with this user story: "I, as a future member of UX Society would like to find reasons to join club by learning about projects, current club members, and chapters by seeing the accomplishments of UX Society."

Meet up with us tonight to learn more about the club and build out these ideas in the form of storyboards. See you there!

Last night, we hosted our first general assembly for new members of UX Society, and what's different about this semester is that we have a larger cohort of students taking degrees such as graphic design and the social sciences.

Because of this, one of our main initiatives going forward would be to focus on member development. As an organization, we seek to provide our members with the tools and resources so that they may become design leaders in whatever they do. By working together with people from different disciplines, we may able to shed light on other perspectives about design that that play to each member's personal strengths.

With our growing diversity of people with different expertise, our members will truly benefit from the years of UX knowledge passed down from others who have ran UX Society before them.

Lastly, we would like to thank all those who were able to join our first meeting this year and we look forward to seeing you hone your skills further with us by your side!
